The New South Family Supper, hosted by Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison, will bring a cadre of 20 of the South’s most innovative chefs** to Atlanta to celebrate a progressive South, respectful of the past, but focused on a diverse and inclusive future.
Women have long been underrepresented as chefs. In the NEW SOUTH they rule the roost.

Featuring poet Adrienne Su, a daughter of Atlanta and a devotee of Buford Highway, now writing and teaching at Dickinson College in Pennsylvania.
With music from Doria Roberts, the Atlanta singer and activist whose voice mirrors Nina Simone and whose recent travels inspired a Farm to Ear Tour.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Southern Foodways Alliance, based at the University of Mississippi. Through documentary, classroom, and outreach initiatives, SFA sets a common table where black and white, rich and poor--all who gather--may consider our history and our future in a spirit of reconciliation.
