Our 15th Southern Foodways Symposium—Barbecue: An Exploration of Pitmasters, Places, Smoke, and Sauce—kicks off this Thursday, October 18. You might have heard us mention it once or twice. In fact, if you've been following along, you've probably noticed that we are extremely excited.

You may also recall that symposium tickets sold out in record time on August 1. We were thrilled by the support, but we also know that not everyone was able to purchase a ticket. That's why we want to share as much of the experience as we can through photos, blog posts, social media, and podcasts. Here are some ways that you can grab a virtual seat at the table:
