On Friday, April 3, The Troutdale Dining Room and Chef Jassen Campbell opened their kitchen to Dr. Jere Ferguson for a guest chef benefit dinner called Making House Calls. Both Jassen and Jere, pictured above, are SFA members. This event was the first of a three part charitable seasonal dinner series, featuring a local doctor as guest chef. Jere chose a French bistro menu as his theme, and he and Jassen created a menu featuring beet and local goat cheese salad, a spring vegetable soup, short ribs, and a French fruit tart. Jere and his wife, Cindy, selected Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee as beneficiaries for the event proceeds. Good job, guys!
